Who could not have loved the gorgeous and wonderful Audrey Hepburn? Sadly not her voice however. Audrey’s voice was too flat for this song, so Marni Nixon’s voice was dubbed in. Still a favourite movie moment though..

Naturally any song where a female vocalist sings a song originally sung by Mick Jagger or John Lennon or Daryl Hall or the and does not change the lyrics to make it “work”. Joan Jett singing “Crimson and Clover” comes to mind.
I went to the Northern Concord Bollington weekend a wheen nervous, and let my wig down to an instrumental with piano and wordless voices, as well as a pounding beat. I was completely elated. No longer apologising.
